Ramon Fernandez, who has overseen the Group’s finances for the previous 8 years, will retire at the end of the first quarter of 2023, according to the French multinational telecoms company Orange S.A. Ramon was in charge of finances, performance, and development as Orange’s deputy chief executive officer (CEO). In the upcoming weeks, the business will make his successor public.

Ramon Fernandez, who has been in charge of the Group’s finances for the past eight years, has made the decision to pursue a new career opportunity outside the organisation. He will go on in his present position within the Executive Committee until his departure. In this capacity, he will continue to work on the creation of the new strategic plan alongside Orange CEO Christel Heydemann and the Group management team.

As the Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Strategy, Ramon Fernandez joined the Orange organisation in September 2014. He is the finance, performance, and development division’s deputy chief executive officer at the moment. He was Director of the French Treasury since March 2009 before joining Orange.
